We're pleased to announce that the Innovators' Circle is now accepting entries and the winner of this year's pitch competition will get $15,000!
We know many of you have had questions about the contest, so we've posted the rules here. After you've read through the rules, you can use this form to send us your official entry.
The competition is open to anyone with a great idea, product or business that has the potential to revolutionize the horse racing industry; the entrant may be an individual or a team. The purpose of the contest is to encourage entrepreneurs to develop new ideas and/or technologies to advance the horse racing industry.
Finalists of the competition will have space in the exhibit area at this year's Global Symposium on Racing & Gaming and make a ten-minute pitch of their entry to a distinguished panel of judges and the Symposium attendees.
"We've seen this type of pitch competition produce results in other industries. By soliciting ideas from a diverse group, there are no limits to what talented people can accomplish," said University of Arizona Race Track and Industry Program Director Doug Reed.
The RTIP, which is helping put this contest on, also puts together the Global Symposium on Racing & Gaming.
The 42nd Annual Global Symposium on Racing & Gaming will be held at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort from December 7-9, 2015.
